Das Rocky Mountain International Student Program bedient drei Schulbezirke, die im Südosten von British Columbia liegen: School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay), School District No. 6 (Rocky Mountain), und School District No. 19 (Revelstoke). Das Gebiet umfasst nicht nur die berühmten Rocky Mountains, sondern auch die Skigebiete in den Bergen von Purcell und Selkirk. Die Landschaft ist geprägt von grünen Bergwiesen, türkisfarbenen Seen, Flüssen, Wäldern und Wasserfällen. Darüber hinaus bietet die Region eine artenreiche Fauna. Bekannt ist die Gegend für ihren „Champagne Powder“ Schnee.
Verschiedene Schulen stehen hier zur Auswahl, die sich durch ein hochwertiges Fächerangebot und vielfältige Sportangebote auszeichnen. Die Schulen befinden sich in Revelstoke, Golden, Kimberley, Invermere und Cranbrook.
